A Day Celebrating Female Founders💌

That ‘Kini at Camarra’s Closet

Last week, I had the pleasure of bringing That ‘Kini to Birkenhead for our first pop up of the year with Camarra’s Closet, alongside 15 incredible women-owned brands.

As a fully online brand, it was so special to take That ‘Kini offline for the day and actually have people see the pieces in person. Being able to showcase the prints, feel the fabric, see the details up close, and most importantly, actually speak to customers face-to-face was something I especially loved.

Reflecting on the past year

Looking at my stand all set up, I reflected on just how much That ‘Kini has evolved over the last year. Comparing this pop up to the one I did back in October with Urban Outfitters, I could really see how much my brand has grown, and how clear my vision for That ‘Kini has become.

It was also amazing meeting so many other female founders and hearing the stories behind their brands. I met women who’s journeys I’ve followed on Tik Tok since they first started and supported from behind the screen - so finally getting to meet the, in person was such a surreal moment.

There was such lovely, supportive energy throughout the day. Everyone was at different stages of their journey, but we were all there because we had taken the leap and created something of our own.

Feeling Grateful

It was one of those days that remind me how much there is to look forward to as That ‘Kini continues to grow - and I am so grateful I got to be part of this day.

A huge thank you to Camarra for organising such an amazing day and bringing so many amazing women together🤍
